The 2010 Swing/Jazz Dancing Music Video Contest
Seattle Vintage Jazz Dance would like to announce... the Second Annual Seattle Swing/Jazz Dancing Music Video Contest! The first contest was a resounding success, and we'd like to follow this up with an even better contest! We've given you more time to work on it, and more music to choose from!
Have you ever watched one of the old-time soundies and thought to yourself that you'd like to be in one of those? Have you ever thought that swing dancers could create a great music video? Do you think you can get away with videotaping a Charleston routine on top of the Space Needle?
You now have a chance to let your imagination go wild and and create what might become the best jazz dance music video in Seattle! This year's contest includes permission to use music by Crytzer's Blue Rhythm Band, the Solomon Douglas Swingtet, as well as the Big Bang Jazz Band!
Prizes include a $700 cash prize and 40 free admission passes to the HepCat Productions weekly swing dance.
